Monday evening I sat in my stand along a picked bean field. All I had seen were turkeys until a half hour before dark, which has been the only time I've seen deer this year. A couple does came to the field for a snack. I was hoping one of them would get closer for a shot when I heard a deer walking over my right shoulder. He came in a spot where I wasn't expecting them and I had the smallest of shooting holes and luckily he stopped right where he needed to. Dad and me tracked him a good while before we decided to leave him till morning. Me and the wife went out the next day and walked all over stripper hills looking for him and finally came across him on our way back to the ranger. The shot was just a little back but he still probably went 150-200 yards. I believe I have enough footage for a video so we will get that put up sometime.

Awesome. Congrats on the buck.
I'd say you got a good wife as well if she traipsed all over the stripper hills to help you look for him.
