I know its not big but it was a nice surprise. Didn't know that we even had them in Parke County

Largemouth, smallmouth, spotted, rock, white, striped bass, channel, flathead, yellow belly cats, crappie, pumpkin seed, gills, walleye, rainbow trout, carp, suckers, drum, bowfin, gar and now yellow perch. I'm sure I left a few out. I've never caught a spoonbill or sturgeon but I have heard of people hooking into them. I have also seen highfin carp suckers but never caught one.

Apparently there's some in Monroe and Lemon, but I've never caught one. Nice job. Sounds like a good creek to fish.

Where do the trout come from?

I recently discovered the fish I thought was a pumpkinseed is actually a longeared sunfish. After reading up on them pumpkinseeds are fairly rare around here.

The longeared sunfish is a beautiful fish though...
