My girlfriend has a couple farm ponds that haven't been fished much in recent years and I went over there a while back with the chainsaw and weedeater to make some bank fishing spots. Finally fished it Saturday evening and WOW! What a crappie whole! These things were nice and thick too. My biggest caught on a G&G Mini Chub. Chase getting in on the action... Gail prefers live bait fishing and caught some nice thick gills. They were still biting after dark but the bugs were biting worse.

Fished Gail's other pond last night and it has the same big healthy crappie in it! I also found out a while back that dad's good buddy, Bill(who has the Owen County pit where we've filmed a lot of fishing videos) actually built the pond that we fished last night. Small world!
