I usually don't like to make posts about my vacations because I don't want to sound like I'm boasting about it. But I'm making a post this time just so you guys know why I'm away from the site for a week or so. Me and the family will be leaving this Friday after school for my kids' spring break week. This year we are going on a 5 day cruise out of New Orleans. We will stop at the island of Cozumel and the city of Progreso in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico before returning back to New Orleans. Once we return to "The Big Easy" we plan on spending a couple of days touring the city and then we hope to make a stop at the Duck Dynasty headquarters before making our way back to cold and dreary Indiana. We are all pretty excited about this trip!

No fishing in there somewhere? Unfortunately not. It just won't fit in the schedule. We are only at port for 8 hours for each of our stops which won't give me enough time to go sightseeing, as well as, fishing. |

Sounds like the exact cruise we did last June. We also spent a couple days in New Orleans after cruising. Word of warning.... If you take the kids to Bourbon Street, make it early or they'll get quite the education. ;-)

Just another night at work for me and Monty will be back here again bright and early.
