Anyone have plans for 2015 yet? I've got lots of plans, but that's all they are at this point; nothings set in stone. I'm hoping to get down to Florida again and stay with Mom and Dad. Thinking about bringing the yak to do some exploring in the canals around Astor. I'd also love to do a hog hunt while down there. I found a place close by that doesn't sound bad; $225 cleaned with no hidden fees and 99% success rate. www.westshoreoutfitters.com/main/Probably bring the bowfishing rig too; you can actually shoot fish that are good to eat down there like tilapia and catfish. Another trip I've considered is snagging paddlefish in Kentucky. Sounds like the Asian carp explosion has made things more interesting for the snaggers. I've also looked into renting a shanty up north. Anyone ever eat whitefish? I see a lot of the shanty rentals are set up for those with lots of action. I'd also like to do a Lake Michigan salmon trip and Erie walleye trip again sometime soon. A couple vacation trips we've discussed is a Kentucky Lake houseboat trip with the neighbors and a Gulf coast condo with the family. I'm sure I won't get all of these done, but hopefully at least a couple!

Our Canada trip never did pan out for last year and I'm not really holding my breath on going this year either. If we do go I've got to get my CC paid down from the rifle I just bought (haven't uploaded pics of that bad boy here yet, probably see a video though). I'd like to go on an Erie trip but I'm not chomping at the bit to do so. Really I'd be happy just to make it over to Monroe this year and to get my boat fixed. It never did see water last year.

As of now, I think my trips this year are going to be fairly local. I plan to head north in a couple weekends to do some ice fishing. Looking at maybe Kosciusko County. Lots of water up there. Keeping my fingers crossed for this weekend around here though. I plan to get the kayak out a lot this year. Bought my wife one for Christmas, so that's not an obstacle . I plan to spend more time scouting out Greene-Sullivan, Goose Pond, and Hillenbrand. Would also like to get on Dogwood either by boat or kayak. An Erie walleye charter has been something I've been thinking about for a couple years. This could be the year I really look into it.

I definitely want to make a couple of trips down to Greene-Sullivan. There is a possibility that I may be making another trip to Canada this year but that is uncertain at this point. I know me and the family will be going somewhere for Spring Break but our destination has yet to be determined. I hope to make a trip to Erie this year to slay some walleye too. Most importantly though, I want to make sure I get the boat plenty wet this year since I didn't use it at all last year

Finances are going to be really tight for the next year, so I'm not sure if it's gonna work out, but I'm hoping to take a northern Michigan trip in the summer. Walleye and salmon. I just wanna catch some species that are hard to come by in southern Indiana. Last year I compiled a pretty nice list of species caught. This year I wanna make it even bigger.

I bought a new Suzuki DR650 dual sport last year and want to do some overnight camp out and rides this year. Maybe Hoosier National Forest or Patoka lake.

I bought it from Dane at Linton last February. Suzuki had a $600 rebate on new 2013 bikes in 2014 and I talked him down to $5130 tax included plus the rebate.I had stopped at Dyer Motorsports in Indy prior to that when my son and I were at the gun show and they had gave me a price of $5100. I gave Dane the chance to match them when I was in there a few days later, I would rather deal with them any way they are good people.I just went for a ride down Queen 4 road yesterday and out through the bottoms to the Eel River bridge. Now we are going to get ice and snow tonight, not great motorcycle weather.
