Day one of our Glendale hunt is in the books. We had 13 of our 14 birds by 10:45 and then hunted for over 3 hours for our last to no avail. I didn't get much meat off this bird.

Nice to see someone getting out. Trying to get a hold of Royale Flush but the phone just rings.

Day 2 is in the books and it was another good time, but man am I pooped! I believe we got 15 of our 18 birds today. Both my kills were hens yesterday and roosters today. I'll have to see what I have on video and get it posted some time soon.

Trying to get a hold of Royale Flush but the phone just rings. Man, I was checking out their website and I'm now thinking that the state hunts at $25 for 2 birds is a bargain! If you guys know someone that has a bird dog, or a flushing dog like a lab, you can hunt Glendale for free right now for the leftover birds. I know some birds made it through the hunts because we saw a few along the road and in fields while leaving both days.

That sounds like a good plan. We're not able to hit up Royal Flush tomorrow. The guy running it has a meeting, and no hunts are available. I was able to get us into the Prairie Grove Hunting Preserve tomorrow though. Price is good, so far the service has been good. Jim was able to get us set up with some dogs, and with four of us going, it seems as though it will be a great time (minus the cold ). PLUS it's a lot closer to home. only about 4 miles from the shop too. sounds like I may have something to do on lunch...

Looks like another good time. Lots of lead flying at some of those birds.
