Hey guys, In Maryland the rut is just beginning, saw a 4 point last night after a small doe came through with his nose too the ground. Just wandering how it is in Indiana?

The buck I shot on the 30th of October was cruising and running his scrapes. I grunted and bleated to him and I think he was coming to check me out. Seen some bucks crossing road while driving at night. They are definitely starting to rut, but still moving kind of late evening/early morning. This week will be best chance at a nice buck. Last year I seen the most buck activity from November 8th - start of gun season.

The rut is in full force in northern Indiana. I saw the most quality bucks this past weekend from my stand than I've ever seen in one weekend. All of them were cruising and scent checking does. Haven't seen any hardcore chasing yet but I imagine in the next couple of days that will start happening.

Man saw the biggest buck of my life today. He was a big 12 point. Cruising after some does. But I forgot my camera at home

I wouldn't know. I still haven't seen a deer while I've been in the tree stand.
