Food plots are coming along nicely. Sunflowers got some nice big heads on them, can't wait for dove season! Also, I made a fence out of $15 worth of caution tape and it has done a good job of keeping the deer out of my beans. Although I left about a 1/4 acre of beans for the deer to enjoy. Corn is about 8 ft tall and some have multiple ears. The new clover plot got infested with weeds so i killed it all off and replanted. Attachments:

Here's a pic showing the fence I made. You can see how well it is working looking at the beans on each side of the fence. It's got an outside strand of caution tape about 2 1/2 ft off the ground with a higher strand on the inside set about 2-3 ft on the inside of the outer strand. used old t posts for the inside strand and cut my own posts from some saplings for the lower one. Used about 1200 feet of tape . 1000 feet of tape was 10 bucks and i had to buy a 300 ft roll for 5 bucks. Since the higher strand is set in from the lower strand it messes with the deer depth perception and they don't think they can make the jump, even though they could. Also, it flaps in the wind with any kind of breeze. had it up for about a month and havent had a single deer inside of it. No signs of browse whatsoever, but before they were eating it back as fast it grew. Those of you with gardens might wanna try this out. Attachments:
