Awesome video and footage! How do you purr with your mouth call? What kind of jake decoy is that?

Awesome video and footage! How do you purr with your mouth call? What kind of jake decoy is that? Thanks, the only way I can really explain it is, you do the same thing wtih the mouth call against the roof of your mouth as you do when your gargleing water in your mouth. Hope that helps a little, and about the decoy its a normal hard body jake decoy but i cut slots out and put in wings and a fan from a jake I shot a couple years back, and it brought those gobblers running!

Ive been waiting for them to come in like that for the 5 years ive been turkey hunting and these birds have never been hunted so they were easy to decoy and call to so it all worked out

Nice job, Tyler...once again, making the rest of us look bad! How were you set up? Looked pretty open where you shot him. I'd love to find birds that have never been hunted, but I don't think that's going to happen around here. Way to keep your cool when the gun didn't fire!

Thanks Monty I set up on the corner of the field that filtered into some woods and the birds were roosted probably 150 yards awayu from me and the flew down and checked out my calls and ran to the decoys.

Best turkey kill footage ive gotten. My friend mason, josh and I set up on a green field in youth season and as soon as this bird hit the ground he came into the decoys....also we used our HD camera in this video P.S. watch the whole video, its awsome footage of a tom strutting his stuff thinking hes winning the hen over and scaring the jake away...
