Turkey season starts this weekend for me and part of the Midwest Hunters Team and we have a JVC HD camera that we are using, so i think any footage we get will be great video for the guy at the Outdoors Channel who contacted me  and Rocky Boots When does everyone elses season start? Anyone planning on getting there hunts on video ? |

Outdoor Channel!? Wow! Fatboy Dan's gonna be on tv, and now you too? That would be very cool.  Here in Indiana the youth season is April 18 &19 and the regular season comes in April 22 and runs for two and a half weeks. I can't wait! Good luck to you guys, I'm looking forward to see what you guys get on video. Have you got a tripod for the camera? They sure make a big difference in the quality of the video. I'd like to get a nice bogen tripod, but for now the 2 cheapos I've got will have to do. |

Yeah we use a tripod but its kind of cheap i would like to get a ncie steady tripod kind of like the one your talking about. |

I dont turkey hunt, so I dont know when it starts here.
Any tripod is better than no tripod. Beats holding a camera all day.

yesterday on opening morning for youth season i nailed a big ol gobbler!!! 11 inch beard 1 inch spurs and 21 pounds. the video will be coming soon in HD |
