Met up with yoteslayer77 this morning to do some coyote hunting. We were gonna hunt the Cory area in Clay County, but instead decided to hit our coworkers farm over in Patricksburg. We knew it was gonna be a good day when we were bypassing the bridge that's out on 46 and saw a red fox trotting down the road and through some yards. Dumb me had the cameras in my backpack. Got there around sunup and on a whim, Mike decided to stop and do some calling in a big holler. Just a few minutes into the jackrabbit distress; I hear Mike whisper "TROY!" I turn to look and a yote is only 15 yards away and headed right for us. Talk about getting your heart PUMPING! He was on us before we even had time to react....I didn't get the shotgun up before he was gone, but Mike did get off a wild shot. I'll let the video tell the rest. It was a GREAT time and we're gonna try again Tuesday morning(wind & weather permitting.) The one that didn't get away...

I was close to Patricksburg this morning as well.
Good to see you guys got on some. I hear them out there regularly in the evening after I've been deer hunting and I've had a few on my trail cams.

I was close to Patricksburg this morning as well. If you saw a black dodge dakota parked in a field off 1075W....that'd be us. On a side note.....I was just looking on google earth, and the spot we coyote hunted is only 3 miles from our Owen County HONEY HOLE that we've fished for years.
