After 2 failed Ebay auctions I found one that was a buy now for $12.99 and free shipping so I jumped on that.

Thought for sure if I turned the camera sideways I'd get a widescreen video. So.....it only records in the upright position? The gopros have a up/down setting that you can switch around so that you can record with the cam upside down. Comes in pretty handy when hanging it from your bow hanger. I figured the jvc would have a setting where you could record with it setting on it's side...more "low profile."

Almost positive there's an "invert image" setting.

Greenie, what do you use for a head mount? I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row for what mounts I might need for my camera.

I should have the bendy mount and a couple of 32GB SDXC cards by the weekend. I may have to go for a walk in the woods to test out the new camera.

We did have a gopro head mount, but like all our other gopro mounts....it's broke. I now use the "hatcam." Drilled a hole in my bill, found a bolt that fit camera mount hole(1/4 I believe?), and used the rubber coated nut from the clamp on mount. Wha-la!

That's redneck engineering at its finest right there.

Eli, I was thinking the same thing! The thing looks hilarious but I'm sure it is mighty effective
