Evan - I do not know much about these bows but I can tell you I have a Mathews Mission bow and totally love it. It is actually meant to be a youth bow but it fits me just fine so I use it. It maxes out at 60# draw weight but I have not had any issue with killing deer at that draw weight. I've killed deer anywhere from 10 to 40 yds away with that bow. It is featherlight and whisper quiet. The best part about the bow is it grows with you. By simply unscrewing a cam screw you can change your draw length by pivoting the cam. I believe it can be adjusted from 24" draw on up to a 30" draw. I would highly recommend this bow.

I would also recommend the Mission line. I own a Mathews and I have been very happy with it. Anyone I have talked to that owns a Mission bow always has good things to say.

So you have a bow and your just lookin for a new one? or is this your first bow? I would look at Parker bows for a good bow for the money. Either Parker or Mathews misson bows would be better i would say. Also you might want to make sure you are getting the right draw length, 28" seems awful long to me. Im almost 6ft tall and i only pull 26" I would probly be better off with 26.5 but im not gonna buy a new cam to get an extra half inch. You are wayy better off with a draw length too short than too long. If you have even been slapped on the wrist with your bowstring then your shootin too long of DL. And also before I got a mathews i was looking into the Diamond bows which are not too expensive for a nice bow. I was looking into the Iceman and i think one was called black Ice?? idk i think they were like $500 maybe a lil more

And I have a bow but the DW only goes to 50 and I need more. I need to be closer to 60 if not right on 60. I am looking into mathews to as well. And with the wrist thing... yeah it hurt too.

Ive always been a bowtech guy. I have no reason to change either! You might look at the diamond outlaw , which i believe is the best value on the market. If you want to splurge a little more, bowtech assassin! Sick bow, its what im shooting. I have a buddy who got a stinger not too long ago, ill ask him about it.

Ah, your in the same situation i was in. My first bow was a Parker Sidekick XP I think they still make em,.. good bow for the money, although not so smooth draw,(i think they got some kind of a roller string guard thing on the new bows) not very fast, pretty loud unless you shoot with a stabilizer and quiver on. Killed first deer with it. and stuck and rolled a coyote with it from 45 yards..didnt recover him but pretty sure he was done for haha.It was lightweight and fun to shoot though, might look into it, but i think a Mathews mission would be better. my parker was 40-50# DW too, then after a couple years I got a Mathews Z7 extreme and my jaw hit the floor the first time i drew it back and shot. Shot about 5 times faster than the old parker did LOL Of course they are pricey but you get what you pay for. Only dislike of the bow is that its a lil heavy. If i was gonna get another bow i would probably go with the Creed, a Monster, or One of the carbon Hoyt bow like the Carbon element, or whatever its called and the brand new one they came out with, maybe the Carbon spyder? Idk. but what I got does just fine. In fact, I have thought about taking the old PArker out and whacking a doe with it
