When the redear sunfish were spawning at a pond by me we caught over 50 of them between 8 and 10 inches. There was another time that I didnt know about citation fish yet that i was fishing a friends private pond and caught a 12 inch bluegill bigger then the bass i caught the same day. The bass was only 10 inches though lol.

What are "citation" fish? I've heard other folks from Virginia talk about this, but I'm not sure what it is? :-/

i know that in va theres a certain length and weight that if you catch a fish above one of them you can get a certificate for it cause they are trophy fish. ill try to find a betterexplanation but i think other states have a citation program too.

Thats some nice lookin fishing...Thats a cool fish basket...look like the fish werent the only ones hungary..i laughed for like 20 minutes after seeing that crane or whatever that big bird that took the bluegill's he didnt seem to know what to do after he took it:)
