Has anyone had any problems with not seeing any deer this gun season? I have hunted every morning before school this week, Monday-Friday, and I have only seen 2 deer (a spike buck chasing a doe as I was walking to my stand.) Has it been slow for everyone else or is it just me?

This evening was the first time I've been in the woods since the orange army invasion, so I can't really say...but I did see 2 does and a fawn. Chase hunted 1 time and bagged a 10 pointer, dad hunted 2 times and bagged a button buck and saw a big doe, goosepondmonster and jonboy both bagged nice bucks before the guns started blazing. I'm working weekends right now, but I've been hearing that there doesn't seem to be as much shooting as there usually is.

Not counting opening day, I have heard maybe 4 shots since Opening day. There is no buck sign on our property either, In 2011-2012 we had close to 30 big bucks and some little bucks on one trail camera, on one scrape. Ever since the land owner killed a big 10 point Saturday evening all deer activity has come to a stand still!

I haven't seen 1 deer since gun season started (within the legal shooting hours). Thought for sure I'd see something this evening with the cold front moving in but got skunked again. I didn't hear nearly the amount of gun shots opening morning that I've heard in years past. The other down fall is we still have standing corn on our property. I believe the deer are using it to their full advantage and not coming out until after dark. I have very few daytime deer pics from the trail cams. I did get excited today when I seen a combine go past my parents place but it wasn't the guy that farms our land.

I know that you asked for the green county guys to reply on this, but same thing is happening here in St. Joe county. I'm not even seeing them moving at night. I don't know if it's the moon or all of the sudden changes we are experiencing in high/low pressure's right now.

I haven't been out since I got my buck, but up to then my season had been slow. I'd only been to my grandma's a couple of times, but hadn't see a deer. Last year I'd usually at least see a deer or two in her woods or across the railroad on the neighbor's property.
My trail cam is showing that they are still moving mostly at night. Since bow season started I only have a few pictures of any daylight movement, which is odd, because her woods is littered with acorns. From what I can tell the deer aren't touching them, because I'm not seeing any droppings and the leaves aren't scuffed up from anything trying to get to the acorns.
