Florida has a pretty cool program called TrophyCatch that promotes bass fishing in the state. Anglers who participate can earn some pretty nice prizes.
This year's "Bass of the Year" was caught by a customer of Captain Sean Rush(the guide my Dad has been using the past couple years in his quest for a lunker.) It was just over 14 pounds right out of the water, but officially weighed in at 13lbs 14.08 ounces.
