Ok fellas, since several of us are in squirrel mode now I need to see your favorite way(s) to cook these little critters. I haven't eaten squirrel in years so I hope to find something interesting.

I like to put them in the crock pot on low with chicken broth all day. After 12-14 hours I separate the meat and bones. Cover the meat in BBQ sauce and slap it on some buns. Pulled squirrel sandwiches. I've got a few I'm gonna season with Andy's Cajun fish fry. But I'm gonna use the crock pot. Something like Cajun squirrel sandwiches, just a different idea.

Yup, I already had went back and looked at those. Since squirrel hunting seems to be a little more popular this year I thought I would just see if anybody had anything special to offer up. I "bumped" it just to keep it on top of the recipes section. Just post when you have time. I understand the whole "being too busy" thing

Put the squirrel legs and backs in a 1 gallon plastic bag add flour salt+a little pepper. shake it up. put it in a skillet with oil and cook till both sides are browned. Then PUT THE LID ON THE SKILLET and put in the oven for 1 hour at 350 degrees. when you get that out put biscuits in the oven and then drain the oil form the skillet, put squirrel on plate. Add milk and flour to skillet and stir up while on low heat. Add salt and pepper .keep stirring til it has the right thickness for you. Now get the biscuits out and enjoy your nice TENDER fried squirrel, biscuits and squirrel gravy

That looks quite tasty.
I have to say, I enjoyed the wind chimes in the background.
