Made this deer feeder out of some lumber scraps out of the barn. Started with two boards that I found, about 10" across and 2.5 - 3 ft long. then found a piece of plywood and cut it into 2 rectangles. I screwed it together so that the boards made a "V" and the pieces of plywood go on the sides. Then I took 4 boards about 4 -5 ft long and screwed them onto the plywood on both sides to make the legs. Then I used a grinder to grind off the tips of the screws poking thru the plywood so as not to poke out a deers eye. (although it might be easier to hunt them if they are half blind lol) then I just cut a bigger piece of plywood into a rectangle to put on top. After that was screwed down I found a sheet of tin in the barn and had to go to my neighbors house to have him cut it for me ( no charge ) then thru it on top of the plywood and nailed it on there. after that I jsut used the power washer to wash off the dirt and dust/ barn smell Put it back in the field where the deer like to pass through at night. Put sunflower seeds in there its all I had. I hear they like em. High in protein. The plan is to put corn in it or mix corn with some oats /sunflower seed and feed the deer once my beans + corn has been ate up. Thjat why they will not leave the property in search of food and they will bed near the food source and drop their antlers for me to find. Im tryin to put the picture up but the computer is bein stupid right now
