well im almost done planting my spring food plots. I plowed and disked up a field about 100 yards from my house to plant sunflowers in for dove hunting and maybe deer hunting as well.. Well me and a buddy were spreading ou tthe seed and i looked down and saw a black rock i picked it up to look at it .. turned out to be the bottom half or so of a flint arrow/spear head. Pretty cool stuff! I had shot and missed a deer in that same spot within 10 yards or so of where I picked that arrowhead up. Some old indian probly shot/speared a buffalo right there haha I just think its really cool to think about. So then I got to pokin around the next day after a little rain came thru and i found a small white rock shaped like an arrow head only smaller. Since it was the only white rock in that field (mostly sandstone)I am geussing that it is probly a bird point that would have been strapped onto the end of the arrow to shoot birds with or small game. might have to plow the other half of that field next year! hahaha I got one other field plowed up that i need to disk and look for them in that field before i plant the sunflowers in it.. Also found a chunk of flint in my cornfield ( the only piece of flint in the whole field )and it looked like it had been knapped but was definitley broken. im thinkin it was part of an arrowhead as well Attachments:

Well yeah its definitely kinda "iffy" haha the reason I think it is an arrowhead is based on the fact that it is the ONLY rock of that type in that entire field.. Trust me, I spent the whole afternoon removing rocks from the field.. lol ANd then for that one unique rock to be in the shape of a small arrowhead would be a pretty big coincidence but it is possible. Loock at the bottom of it how the right corner of the bottom comes out to a point and then there is a upside down "U" shape in the bottom. It looked like the bottom left corner of it might have been broken off. This style of arrowhead wouldnt have the notches on the sides .. Heres a picture of the style of arrohead I think this might be .. Ill see if I can post it
