Don't know if the ammo craze is finally starting to die down or if I just lucked out, but I was able to pick up 1,000 rounds of 22LR today at Dick's in Plainfield. Limit one box per customer, so I sent the Mrs. in for a box. $22.99 for a box of 500. Still no luck on 9mm though.

From what I've been reading the craze is starting to die down a bit. Most of the places I visit still have bare shelves, but I don't think a new shipment disappears as quickly as it used to.
