I was working at Cagles Mill (Cataract Lake) just outside of Poland, In yesterday and stopped down in the tailwater after work for some fishing. The tailwater is pretty high right now but I thought I could catch a few crappie in the eddies and I did, but the guy a few yards down was having some pretty exciting action on the end of his line. We were even using the same the lure. He yelled "its a big bass, grab my net!!!!!" Well when he pulled it in, I got pumped. He caught a nice walleye. He didnt have a tape so I measured it. 27 3/4 inches. If my phone didnt die, I would have taken a picture and posted it. I still have not caught a walleye. I think I'm gonna have to try for some walleye there now. We talked for a few and he said he catches walleye pretty often there. I obviously am not doing something right. Anyone else ever catch them there?

I've heard of other folks catching them there. Sounds like he caught a dandy.

I've tried catching walleye there too without any luck. That would definitely be a good one.
