Went over to Minnehaha this evening. I intended to get over there around 6:00, but fell asleep on the couch. I woke up around 6:30 and hit the door. I was out there a little before 7:00. I set up in the spot where we saw the people catching a bunch the last time. I was using orange dough bait, rainbow dough bait and yellow/corn dough bait. I had been there about thirty minutes before I caught the first. The first trout had a decent bass following it to the bank. After a little while later I had another bite and brought it to the bank. The third followed the bait in and I barely hooked it in the lip. The fourth and fifth came pretty quick after the third. All were caught on the orange dough bait. The fifth was a nice kicker at fourteen inches. The rest were around eleven to twelve inches. It really is a lot of fun catching those trout. It felt good to get my first limit... Attachments:

Nice limit. I was out there around 4:00 but left empty handed again. Packed it up, CO pulled in, got checked, drove over to Greene-Sullivan and caught a couple dink bass. I drove back by there on my way home around 6:45 but my stomach won the fight over continuing to fish. I'm probably going to hit the lake a little harder this week to try and get some fresh trout in the freezer.

Thanks guys. There was a couple of, I assume, high school kids in the lot when I pulled up. They appeared to be trying to engage in activities that my presence interfered with. I walked back up to the truck to grab something. The young fellow was sitting on the tailgate and I saw the young lady's head pop up quickly. It was rather comical.
