That time of the year is fast approaching, and with just a few weeks away (give or take per your location), I was wondering what some of you guys' prediction for the harvest this year are. I dont think we're looking at "DROUGHT" conditions again this year(hopefully ), and looking at the extended forcast, to me, conditions look to be, so far, Favorable. What are some of your guys' thoughts? Any side wagers? Maybe a "SHROOM of the Year" competition? Or a "BEST HAUL" competition? Just some thoughts I had...

Looking at the ten day forecast I'm thinking it will be a later season this year. The ground is still around thirty degrees.

With the snow coming, more moisture in the ground. I'd say a really good year. Do both, BIGGEST MUSHROOM, and BEST HAUL. Just have to figure a prize, like maybe a buy in and winner takes all and split on a tie. I like the idea of a mushrooming contest. More incentive to get out there.
