...out of our Greene County pond. Started out casting a G&G mini chub but all I was pulling up was slimy green moss. Went home and put on a ice fishing bobber with a G&G Icer jig in a color I hadn't yet tried; glow/black, and tipped it with a beemoth. I couldn't cast far with hardly any weight, but just seconds after it hit the water I reeled in this hand sized gill... Unfortunately, my batteries were dead in my camera so I had to take a crappy cell phone pic. I walked back home to get fresh batteries and by the time I got back to the pond it was pretty much dark and I didn't catch anymore. It was a beautiful evening for February and the pond was like glass... I'm back to work now, but if the weather's good next week I'm gonna try this again.
