I am going to try and make it to Airline this spring to catch some trout.
Are red worms the best bait to use for them?

Are red worms the best bait to use for them? Good question! If you figure it out, please let me know! I think the few I've caught out of there have been on live worms, but I've spent a lot of hours drowning worms, minnows, corn, salmon eggs, berkley trout bait, casting spoons, spinners, and trolling the same with no luck. On a side note; I've spent 1/10th of the time fishing Island Pit at Minnehaha and have caught trout on spinners, corn, AND salmon eggs.

I've heard that corn works really well if you're fishing Island Pit. It sounds like it may be the better option of the two spots.
