I was just wondering does any use mineral sites??what has worked best and where do u put it?

We just use a cheap regular mineral block from Rural King. We've been placing it in the same spot for quite a few years; a little hump behind the pond dam. We started it on a hump so that we didn't end up with a big hole. The deer will eat the salted dirt. That's the remnants of a corn flavored block I picked up at Orscheln's in the pic. It was pretty much worthless....all that's been working it is coons.

so did u just start with a block? and thanks for the reply! Yep. Took a shovel with me to make level spot on the hump to set the block. The deer really didn't start using it until the rain washed the salt/minerals into the ground.
