Does anyone have any recomendations for a charter?

My dad and me went when I was living in the Daytona area, but that was over 20 years ago and I can't remember what the charter was called. Actually....I don't remember much from that trip other than we drank way too much beer and dad had an epic battle with a 8' hammerhead.

Just google "Ponce Inlet charters" and I'm sure you'll have tons to pick from!

I have fished a few times on the "Critter Fleet". Had a good time every time. There is a restaraunt on the way back to the hotel that fried our catch for us, wish I could remember the name. If I remember right it was like $60 for an 8 hour bottom fishing trip. Have fun and good luck!

I know it has been forever but we have been back down to the area a couple of time since this thread was started. We hit the jackpot the first time down and have been going back to the same guy every since. If you are ever down in the port canaveral area I would STRONGLY recommend capt. Jim Ross with fine line fishing charters. We have a blast every time and it seems like every time we go something big ends up at the side of the boat.

daybreak: Always loved Labor Day weekend. Time for those jet skis and speed boats to go back in storage and make room on the lakes for us fishermen again. (:))
