If those gorilla arms were under $20 I might say it was worth it, but they are definitely NOT worth 30+ dollars. We have that arm and don't even use it for what it's intended for; we have the head mounted to a pole to use for underwater shots and I have the strap and first extension rigged up as a bow hanger for hunting on public land. It cracks me up the way they advertise those with a canon camera attached....no way they would hold that camera steady...they won't even hold a little hand held steady. I have no experience with the muddy arm?

I don't have any experience with it, but it does look better than the gorilla arm. Here's a video of it. The guy has trouble getting the mounting bolt in the tree, but the 3rd arm mini uses something like that and we've never had any trouble screwing it in by hand. I like those extra hooks too!

I dont know if youve made your decision yet, but if it was me i would definitely go with the muddy mount and get a EZ hanger with 3 arms

Well I ordered the HME but the more I look at it the more I wish I would've got the muddy. My initial thoughts were to go with the one with bettser reviews but, I REALLY like the muddy, although the HME had a little better review/rating and was cheaper. This is mainly just to get started, and hopefully eventually get a really nice system.
