I'm giving it a go. I've never been a member but have been thinking about it. The little incentive for a year membership is just a bonus to take $25 off a reel I would like to get. So I'm looking at it as this 1 year membership as being a trial phase to see what it's like and whether or not it's worth continuing. I have heard the NRA banquets are pretty good to go to.

If I wasn't already a member through 2014, I'd do this deal. The magazine they send out is pretty good. I get American Rifleman. One thing I don't like is how they send me a letter at least a couple times a week asking for donations and to renew my membership.
