I think I'll try this soon. We always seem to have some "mystery" meat in the freezer.

I've got a big batch of it cooking right now. My wood is wet and covered with snow, so I've got it in the crock pot. Last night I put a couple deer roasts, half a wild turkey breast, and a squirrel in the crock pot with some water, creole seasoning, and a little liquid smoke. This morning I took the meat out and shredded it and added potatoes, red beans, corn, green beans, okra, diced tomatoes, tomato juice, diced ham, and heck....I can't even remember what all's in there. Gonna let it cook all day and then have it for supper. I'll report back with how it turns out.

It was good! Kim and Colt even like it. I just made this batch with stuff I had on hand. I think next time I'll either add a couple cans of beef broth or a bullion cube or 2 for even more flavor and maybe various peppers too.
