Finally got my first deer of the 2012 season after a few mishaps and a couple lost arrows. LOL Just a young doe..not much but it was a good feeling to break my bad luck streak..LOL

I was pretty excited.. I got it on video and ill post a link to it when its uploaded. BUt i act pretty stupid after i killed it, but oh well,lol

Passed up a decent 8 point at 40 yards about 30 minutes earlier.. He came thru and i had him stopped and i just didnt have a good enough shot.. And i pretty much knew that if i shot i would probly miss or make a bad shot, so i let him go.

Then i check behind me and catch a glimpse of two young does running toward me. They come to the edge of the woods and stand there for a few minutes and finally one of them steps into the clover field to get a bite to eat and i put the camera on her and then pulled back and shot her right behind the shoulder and it came thru her shoulder blade on the other side. Perfect double lung +heart shot. She runs 40 yards down the hill, stands there for a few seconds then flips over on the ground and all i saw was a big white belly. I was happy,happy,happy LOL

daybreak: Always loved Labor Day weekend. Time for those jet skis and speed boats to go back in storage and make room on the lakes for us fishermen again. (:))
