Not a recipe....but a handy tool. I had seen this thing on shows like No Reservations and Bizarre Foods, usually being used in Asian food markets and I thought it looked perfect for dipping wings or fish out of hot oil. I had no idea what it was called, but after a few google searches I discovered it's called a "spider skimmer." It's simply a wire basket attached to a bamboo handle. I bought a 7" model on ebay and tried it out last night. Works great! Perfect for dipping anything out of hot liquid.

I wish I would have seen the tweet earlier. I might have made a detour on my way home from Greene County. Those wings look outstanding.
