post pics of your homemade hunting blinds, tree stands too. Im wanting to make a few to take my daughter hunting since she is too scared to climb in my buddy stand. Ive got a few ideas with pallets but also thought of using pvc pipes and covering with burlap or camo material. just looking for some ideas and just to see what yall are using. well hope somebody on here uses them, guess i'll find out

What you can do is take some panel style fence and wrap it in a circle around you, either fill it with surrounding brush or but camo wrap around it. I've used this for waterfowling, but It should work great for deer too. You may have to trim it for your daughter though

Hey get on youtube and look up "fishnkid1923" Then go to my channel and look at my most recent vido. It says "highlights from hunts 3-8" Then if you dont wanna watch it just skip to the end and you can see the ground blind a made and i tell how i made it.. I made it in about an hour and it blends in really good. I made it on the edge of a cut cornfield so i threw some of the material from the corn stalks all over it. But I hgave also made them in the woods out of just brush/sticks and then put cedar branches all around it. that was the most comfortable blind i had ever been in cuz it was like 20 degrees warmer inside and smelled like cedar trees. If you are making a blind when the leaves are all gone then pile some brush up and once you have that then just throw leaves on it and you can cut some branches from beech trees or cedar/pine to finish it off. since beech trees will keep their leaves till spring.

I like the holding tank blind. Just one thing... how do you get in it? That would be really nice buried in the side of a hill. Do your windows slide or drop down?

I put a door in the back side. I will try to get a pic of it. My windows fold down with a hinge at the bottom. Shot out of it this week and was rather comfortable to shoot out of.

How loud is it when you shoot outof it? I'm also assuming this isn't for bowhunting

Actually it is very quiet. With the muzzle sticking outside of the blind its very muffled. A friend of mine came over this weekend and we shot an AR out of it. I actually shot the AR with no ear protection from inside it. No its strictly gun. I cant quite stand all the way up in it. Maybe in the middle but its more of a luxury sitting down kinda blind. Thinking maybe a retired recliner in it once I put it up on stilts!
