Shot her at 10 am 10-7-12 (Sunday). Shot her and heard it smack a limb and thought my arrow didn't hit her so I slowly knocked another. She was long gone, I was about to sit back down and I heard a series of low grunts. I turned slowly and there was a shooter 8 point hot on her trail. I didn't realize they were chasing yet but he was. He was oblivious to me being there, so I drew back as he walked her trail. All the sudden just before I had a clear shot, he turned around and back tracked. Ended up walking right to my stand and went on the opposite side I had drew back on. I turned to face him and got busted out big time, otherwise I would have him. I went to look for my arrow I shot at the doe and found blood everywhere. My G5 T3 broadhead done the trick. Hit was double lung.

Congrats!! She'll eat good. I thought it was weird that Chase seen a buck with 2 does on Saturday. Maybe the ruts gonna be screwed up this year because of the drought? It seems more like spring right now than fall with all the rain.
