Finally got her done! First acrchery hunt of the year. I got in the stand at around 5, first time in the spot. Around 530 I saw a doe come by at 50 yards and skirt around me, thenn later she came back through the same way she came. At around 630 I'm looking at a squirrel fight, and I hear a noise from the blind spot behind me. Then I saw ears, It was a nice doe and she prceeded to walk right under my stand, I checked behingd her and saw a fawn with her. When she got out to about 5 yards I rested the pin and fired off a shot, which struck far back. but blood was gushing like no other, And she stumbled after 20yards, looked back and crashed! The fawn ran off, so I started making phone calls, after my dad didn't answer, I looked up and the fawn was at 40 yards, I gave it a bleat and she was coming, she got to my blind spot and went around the wrong side of the tree and stopped to start at its mom at 3 yards. I stood up, turned around, drew back, and made another far back shot through some really thick stuff. She ran about 40 yards and bleated then crashed. It turned out to be a good doe and a little button buck. Both arrows were good passthroughs and both stuck into the ground. I'll post up pictures as soon as I can.

Nice job! Thats a good feeling to get one with a bow. Its alot more fun than using a gun.. I have had shots at plenty of deer but i didnt want to shoot them just yet.. But a cold front is coming in now, and i plan on shooting a mature doe if i have a shot inside 20 yards..Any farther and its just not as fun. A had a big doe at 16 yards on tuesday, but she was nervous because i was drinking coffee while watching them feed around me and the wind flip flopped on me. It took her about 10 minutes of sniffing to finally snort and then walk off calmly in the other direction. Its always fun to have them close up..
