I'm not a fall mushroom hunter, although I have been studying up on the fall varieties and hope to learn enough to harvest some one of these days. I picked this one out of the yard last night after work that I believe is a pink bottom(meadow mushroom/pinky/Agaricus compestris). I've seen a few of these in the yard this week and noticed a "ring" of them in a neighbors yard last night.

Mom said they had a bunch of these popping up in their yard. It's good to know what they are.

Today i noticed some strange mushrooms growin in the path of my little archery range..i jsut mowed a 50 yard strip of tall grass down real short and i have all my targets setup at 10 yard increments 20-50 yards. Anyways the mushrooms just came up in the past 2 days after all the rain we got. They looked like white ping pong balls laying on the ground..there were about 20 of them. They were really fluffy on the inside like a marshmellow. NEver seen them before.. probably poisonous
