Just wonderin if anybody went squirrel huntin and if you did any good. My gpa got two this morning. I would be going this evening but its a church night..so maybe tommorrow evening if my dad will drop me off. I will be up bright and early on saturday morning though!

I like early season squirrel hunting, just don't like shooting ones with warbles. Haven't been yet though.

Ended up with one tonight. Sat down for about 10 minutes and heard at least 4 start barking deeper in teh woods. Snuck up on one and shot it, and shot it. then shot it again and it finally fell out of the fork it was jammed in way in the top of a tree. went to the other side of the woods and then back there and couldn't hear or see another one after that.

I got 4 today with the 22. Missed a few... shot right over a squirrel at 10 feet and he acted like nothing happened, then i missed again,lol Shot them on hickory mostly and white oak.
Thes evening i went across the road huntin and i saw 3 big buckswith about 10 does.. I sat on the hillside and watched the, for about 2 hours. two eight points and a 10 point. THe 10 point would have made P&Y i bet.Im probly gonna hunt in my climber where i saw them come out the woods..atleast for a few days., if i get one of them it will be a long drag. The big buck already had velvet coming off the tips of his tines.
