...is what I've named this guy. Him and momma have been hanging around our backyard since he was a tiny fawn. I'm surprised they're still together? She evidently didn't have a baby this spring, or something possibly happened to it. They hang out here so much that they're hardly even afraid of us anymore....and they could care less about Max. We heard him barking this evening and looked out and "Momma's Boy" was actually walking towards Max and that's when I snapped the pic. Here's one from earlier this summer....Max watching Momma's Boy eat apples.

COol pictures.. I took the tractor and cut the grass in a small area on the edge of the woods on my gma's farm and put my trail cam over it. checked it today and had several pics of a bigg old doe with a small spotted fawn with her. I also got pics of 2 small bucks in a bachelor group.. i saw them while i was huntin last year during the rut, apparently they have made my grandmas farm their new home. Which makes me happy because my goal is to attract more deer, especially bucks,to the property. Today i sat a plastic tub full of water in front of my trail camera, it will be interesting to see if they will drink out of it or if they will be too nervous.

When I see deer in my back yard I can't help but visualize where I'd try to shoot him in the angle they're standing in and sometimes I'll come to full draw on them and practice putting my pins on them; great off season practice.
