I've never given much thought about side imaging....until I saw this photo on Indiana Walleye this morning....

I want one too! I never really cared much for side imaging until now. This would be so ideal when the ripple on the water is concealing the beds. I could've used this a couple of weeks ago.

....or when the water is too stained, or when they're nesting too deep to see....

The pic in the article I posted is in 8fow and you'd probably just drive right over them and not even know they're there. I guess you can even zoom in with these and see if there's actually fish on the nests.

Till I can afford something better I will keep using my smart cast.

daybreak: Always loved Labor Day weekend. Time for those jet skis and speed boats to go back in storage and make room on the lakes for us fishermen again. (:))
