I haven't made any posts to the recipes thread in a long time so lately I've been thinking about doing some posting whenever I come up with something really good. Last night I came up with something really good I've had some beef tenderloins in my freezer that I've been wanting to eat. So, last night I started thinking about what kind of marinade can I throw together. Here's what I came up with and man was it goo-ood! Take equal parts olive oil, balsamic vinegar, worcestershire, and soy sauce (I used 1/4 cup of each for six small cuts of meat) plus 1-2 cloves of garlic and a tablespoon of dijon mustard and mix it in a large bowl or saucepan...but wait, there's a secret ... Get a good hot fire going on your grill (preferably charcoal). Take each cut of meat and dunk it in the marinade and place directly over heat on grill. Every minute, remove the meat from the grill and dunk in the marinade and then flip to cook other side. Repeat this process until meat is cooked to desired doneness. (If you are cooking chicken, allow several minutes between dunkings and do not cook directly over flame) This was really, really good. If I were to make any alterations to this recipe I would remove the olive oil and replace it with butter to thicken then marinade a little more so that it clings to the meat better during cooking. Enjoy!! Also, I cut up some taters and put them in some aluminum foil and drizzled this marinade over the top of the taters, then threw them on the grill...WOW!!

I think I may try some venison using that recipe. It sounds good.

Sounds great! I like that marinate/grill/marinate idea...I'll definitely be giving it a try. Thanks for sharing!
