I was gonna hit Shakamak this morning, but I really wanted to fish somewhere that I'd at least have a shot at a walleye. After seeing Justin's post the other day...I decided to pack up the truck and head up to the falls. I walked a overgrown trail to about halfway down between the lower falls and the lake. It wasn't worth the walk....all I managed was 5 crappie and a bluegill. I was using various spinners and jigs with crawlers and I also caught dink bass, green sunfish, and a 10" channel cat that took a hunk of my hide when I released it. I came home this afternoon and caught a couple channels from the pond to finish off the mess... I was going to fish a little right at the falls, but it looked like I would be the only one there that could speak English, so I passed.

The rock wall on the left is the walleye hideout. It's dried up quite a bit since I was there. Nice fish though.
