Sorry, but I don't think people should be allowed to hunt with spears. Way to big of a chance to injure and maim the animal. I know there is that chance with any weapon, but the percentage seems a lot higher using a spear. That's just my .02 cents.

As with any weapon, the hunter needs to be confident enough with his weapon. And have enogh practice to hit there target. I don't know that everyone willhave the right judgement to know when there ready, but thats one thing they have to trust hunters with. Like they trust any other type of hunters. Plus, a spear that misses the vitals will do alot more damage than a broadhead/bullet. Thats how I feel about it anyway.
