Strippitman and me whacked 'em and stacked 'em at the forest today. ;)Tried a few different pits and found the big redear and 'gills on nests. We got ran off by storms a few times but would wait them out and go right back to catching fish. Ended up keeping 59 bluegill and redear, 2 crappie, and a channel cat...

The pictures really don't do them justice. These were some real nice and thick redear!

Water temps were all the way up to 70 according to the Fishin' Buddy. It was a good day! 8-)

We had a great time! The pictures do not do any justice at the quality of this bag of fish. 75% of those fish were as big as your hand and almost too big to grip. I bagged the fillets last night and the size of many of those fillets are tremendous! We had a blast!

daybreak: Always loved Labor Day weekend. Time for those jet skis and speed boats to go back in storage and make room on the lakes for us fishermen again. (:))
