Ran down to the forest after supper this evening and fished for an hour or so from the bank. Would of liked to have stayed longer but the skeeters came out to play after dark and I forgot the bug spray. 
Caught a trout not long after I got there on a worm and then a few gills right before dark. Right at dark I tied on a little shad colored crank thinking I might get into some crappie and on the first cast I hooked into something. Got it to the bank and it was a trout...right then my pole with the worm took off and as I was grabbing for it the trout came undone.
It was a nice evening other than the gnats, ticks, and skeeters!
