Hey Guys,
Well, I got out today and patterned my shotgun. Got great shot density at 15, 25, and 35 yards. Was a little cold and rainy up my way today but nothing too bad. I'm definitely ready to get out in the field soon.
Just have to buy my tag. I'm holding off this year until right before I got because I got burned last year when my hunting spot became impossible to get to thanks to deep mud.
Been hearing a lot of birds on my scouting trips, too.
Everyone else getting ready for the season?

Good luck Brian! When does season come in over there? How much is the turkey license in Ohio? It cost $31.75($25 for license, $6.75 game bird stamp) for resients here in Indiana. Indiana's youth season is next weekend and the the regular season opens Wednesday the 25th. I haven't decided for sure, but I'm probably not gonna do it this year. I was suppose to be off the first 5 days of season but my work went to a new 3 day rotating schedule starting this month and the season opens on my "turn around" which puts me working the first 6 of 7 days. I've been trying to talk Colton into going but he hasn't shown much interest. This will be Chase's last youth season and he's pretty pumped up.

Season here starts with a youth weekend on the 21st and 22nd then the regular season from the 23rd through May 20th. The first two weeks is only until noon then until sunset the last two weeks.
To turkey hunt, it costs $19 for a yearly hunting license and then $24 for a turkey tag. We can kill up to 2 birds in the spring season, but you have to buy a tag for each.
Hopefully Chase can connect in his last youth season.
