My family went out shroomin today and my Five year old son found the only shroom of the day. It was a dandy. He said dad stop I found a shroom, I thought yeah ok son,lol. Then I turned around and saw him holding this, a great day to be in the woods, it was an awesome family day.

He was almost of proud of himself as I was of him. Awesome day in the woods.

The best part of the story is my wife posted the same picture on Facebook. Well being a small town my neighbors saw the pictures and today my neighbor lady asked him were he got that big shroom. He says well we was walking in the woods and bam I found that big ole shroom right by a dead "Elmers" tree.

I have told him repeatedly that it is called just Elm not elmers, lol. But hey its his story. It was hilarious how he retold he events of the big find like an old pro.

I love taking my oldest little girl with me. She is 5 as well. She gets so excited when she finds one.. She had a blast last year when we got into a big ol patch of blacks. This year has been kinda a bummer because she hasnt been able to find any, I have not found to many myself this year either though.

daybreak: Always loved Labor Day weekend. Time for those jet skis and speed boats to go back in storage and make room on the lakes for us fishermen again. (:))
