The boys had too much homework to go fishing with me this evening so I ran down to the Greene-Sullivan State Forest Airline Pit by myself and fished for a couple hours. Was fishing from shore with 2 lines out with crawlers...1 deep, 1 below a float, and casting with spinners on an ultralight. I went 2 for 3 on the trout right before dark and caught a crappie just after dark. All on a crawler fished from 6-12 feet deep. There was a couple guys trolling in a little jon boat that said they had limited on trout in less than 2 hours and were just fishing for fun. It was a VERY peaceful evening just sitting on the bank with a cold one listening to the turkeys gobbling and watching the geese, ducks, and blue heron flying over.

Sounds like a great evening Troy. Would have been great even without catching the fish.
