Well I was around Worthington this morning shroom hunting and I spotted a big ol tom on the side of the road with 5 hens.. He was strutting pretty hard. Turkey season starts on the 25th, I wonder if it will be harder to call a tom in since spring started pretty early this year.

We fished for about 4 hours this afternoon and evening and toms were gobbling the whole time. Seen a couple strutters with a bunch of hens on the way home too. Should be an interesting season!

I will be surprised if the turkey harvest numbers are high this year.. Never know until it comes though.

daybreak: Always loved Labor Day weekend. Time for those jet skis and speed boats to go back in storage and make room on the lakes for us fishermen again. (:))
