Anyone planning on fishing any of the shakamak bass tournaments this year? I can probably find the info to post up, if needed, but me and a friend are planning on gettin in the action  It'll be more of a learning experience, being both of our first tournaments  |

I fished a few there years ago but never did any good.
Here's some info for anyone interested;
Bass Fishing Tournaments At Shakamak State Park
(SHAKAMAK) - Shakamak State Park once again will be hosting bass fishing tournaments.
There will be open team jackpots and these events are open to the public.
There is a 10 fish limit. Slot limit applies -- under 12 inches and over 15.
Cost is $25 per team.
Registration will take place at Kickapoo ramp 15 minutes prior to each event.
The dates include Saturday, March 24 and Saturday, April 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
There will be eight tournaments on Fridays, including May 11, June 1, June 22, July 6, July 27, Aug. 10, Aug. 24 and Sept. 7. Times for Friday tournaments are from 7 p.m. to midnight.
The final event is set for Saturday, Sept. 22 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
