Those are definitely impressive. The more I see these pictures, the more I get the itch to head to Bass Lake.

I just saw that. Looks like I will have to plan ahead next time I take the picks. My dad actually had one follow that looked at least as big as this one about ten minutes before I caught this one. I caught this fish on a brand new bait first time out and about five cast later I donated it to a bass lake stick up, imagine that. Good new is I already have two new ones in the mail.

Once again, heck of a fish. I guess I don't need to wait until spring to go after musky. Looks like I need to talk the f-i-l into taking out the aluminum boat.

We have a lure retrieval that gets them back almost all of the time. I lost that one because I was hung up and was messing with a birds nest. Dad did not hear me say I was hung up and took off across the lake to another spot. You would be surprised how hard you have to hold on when you are using 80 pound power pro and a 130 pound leader. Think the birds nest was actually due to still being a little fired up from the fish. It does not look like it in the pictures but she was not as big as the one that I cought in October. We did not get a girth measurement but she was about 46.75 inches long, had a big stomach but was not near as big structually as the one in october we were just able to get a little better pics.

I just registered a fish in the fish of the year that was actually caught on the replacement bait for the one that I lost on the stickup. It was the same class of fish as my two biggest but was hooked badly and we did not want to take the time to measure her. Just snapped a couple of photos and released her. I think I need to order a few more of those baits. LOL

Thanks!
She had some pull. It took about 5 minutes to net her. As soon as she was in the net, the lure came out of her mouth. It's a moment I will always remember.
